Iceland is geologically active; it has 200 volcanoes and 33 eruptions.
Iceland culture has its roots in Norse traditions. Traditional music is strongly religious and includes folk, pop, medieval music and alternative indie bands.
Icelandic people affirm that they have a high-level of life satisfaction, and this is mainly because: they have access to inexpensive electricity and heating, each home receives free hot water, and there is no private education nor private healthcare.
Something very attractive of Iceland are  polar lights, these lights appear in the sky especially in June, July and September.
In Iceland, during summer, the sun is visible during all day for 47 days; on the other hand, in winter, the sun does not appear for 27 days.
